ICUBA currently offers four PPO medical plans from which to choose: PPO 70 Blue Choice, PPO 70 Blue Options, PPO Risk/Reward Blue Choice and PPO Risk/ Reward Blue Options.  These offerings include a high deductible plan that allows member schools to offer an HRA (Health Reimbursement Account) to its members if they choose to do so in addition to a high deductible plan with a high performance network.  ICUBA has no deductibles for ambulatory care or prescription drugs. ICUBA also offers a 90 day at retail pharmacy drug program along with a value based formulary which allows members to save time and money. ICUBA pays 100% of Preventative Services as listed in the Schedule.

Each of the plans is a PPO, which allows greater access to medical services and freedom of choice for the employee than an HMO. Member schools also have the flexibility to select benefits to fit their own institutional objectives (e.g., whether to cover abortion or domestic partners, etc.) and enjoy the benefit of competitive Premium Rates.
